her one-take wonder "You're In My Skin" (incidentally, the only Canadian to reach the semi-finals in the jazz category).

September 23, 2005 - Mary performs with brother Paddy Barry at

September 9-19, 2005 - Mary is chosen as the 2005
Gros Morne Musician in Residence, a partnership program between
Gros Morne Co-Operating Association and Parks Canada. Mary spends
10 days in the community composing, gives songwriting presentation to
the high school students in Rocky Harbour, as well as conducts a voice
workshop in the community. Mary also performs sold out solo concert at
the Gros Morne Visitor's Centre in Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland.
August 25, 2005 - Mary launches Blue Jazz Night @ Bianca's with trio,
featuring Patrick Boyle, Ron Collins, Gary Tilley and special guests Holly Hogan

March - June, 2005 - Mary begins a series of voice-over contracts,
including the narration for Wavelight Production's Battle Harbour Heritage video,
Nifco's Changing Minds and the Global/Pope Productions television series Legends
and Lore of the North Atlantic, hosted by Gordon Pinsent. The 13 part series is
broadcast on the Mystery, Prime, and Global networks.
