The engineers were Terry Winsor and Karl Falkenham. The St. John's contingent features la creme de la creme of Newfoundland jazz performers: John Nugent on Sax, Jeff Johnston on Piano, Jim Vivian on Bass, Michael Billard on Drums. The Halifax musicians were: Chris Mitchell on saxophone, Bruce Dixon on bass and Dave Burton on drums. Mary Barry plays piano on Moonlight Café, January and Sagittarius Rising. All songs are compositions by Mary Barry. The first track January won first place in CBC's Atlantic Song Contest. As well, the song Running Away won the Newfoundland & Labrador Arts and Letters Award.
