Red Eye Tonight, Mary's third independent recording features Mary's original songs, accompanied by a brilliant and talented team of musicians: Brian Way, Rick Hollett, Patrick Boyle, Bill Brennan, Gary Davis, Mark Peddle, Gary Tilley, Andrew Dale and Paddy Barry. The band was aptly referred to as "The St. John's All-Star Band" at the 2007 St. John's International Jazz Festival. These Days was released in 2004 to critical acclaim and won Mary Female Artist of the Year in her home province at the Newfoundland & Labrador Music Industry Awards. In 2005 praise for These Days continued with an ECMA nomination for Jazz Recording of the year. Four award winning songs on this album put Mary in the class of a first-rate songwriter. This album also exhibits Mary's bilingual talents featuring two songs in French.

These Days was produced in Vancouver and features well-renowned musicians Rick Kilburn, Jesse Zubot, Miles Black, Graham Ord and Craig Scott. With great musicians and great songwriting, "These Days", will easily take a coveted position in any music lover's collection.

Mary's first CD was produced by CBC Radio (Glen Tilley and Glen Meisner) and recorded at CBC St. John's and CBC Halifax. The engineers were Terry Winsor and Karl Falkenham.

The St. John's contingent features la creme de la creme of Newfoundland jazz performers: John Nugent on Sax, Jeff Johnston on Piano, Jim Vivian on Bass, Michael Billard on Drums. The Halifax musicians were: Chris Mitchell on saxophone, Bruce Dixon on bass and Dave Burton on drums.

Mary Barry plays piano on Moonlight Café, January and Sagittarius Rising. All songs are compositions by Mary Barry. The first track January won first place in CBC's Atlantic Song Contest. As well, the song Running Away won the Newfoundland & Labrador Arts and Letters Award.
